When you set up conversion tracking to measure the results of your LinkedIn ads, you need to choose a conversion event type.
Select the conversion type that best describes the action your website or app visitors will complete. If your conversion doesn’t fit any of these types, select Other. Make sure to include the underscore where shown.
The following are descriptions of each event type:

| Add to List | add_to_list | Adds an item to a wish list. |
| Apply Job | apply_job | Clicks or completes a job application on a recruiting website, including LinkedIn Talent Media. |
| Book Appointment | book_appointment | Reserves an appointment. |
| Complete Signup | complete_signup | Completes a registration process. |
| Contact | contact | Attempts to contact, like by filling out a form or making a phone call. |
| Donate | donate | Makes a donation. |
| Download | download | Downloads a file. |
| Install | install | Installs an app or plugin. |
| Invite | invite | Sends or shares an invite. |
| Key Page View | key_page_view | Views an important page or screen (web view). |
| Lead | lead | Completes a lead generation step, like filling out a form. |
| Login | login | Logs in to a website or app. |
| Other | other | Takes an action not covered by other event types. |
| Outbound Click | outbound_click | Leaves the app or page by clicking a link. This conversion captures link clicks, but not the destination of the link. |
| Phone Call | phone_call | Starts a call or performs a phone call-specific event or submission. |
| Purchase | purchase | Makes a purchase. |
| Rate | rate | Rates a service or product. |
| Register Event | register_event | Registers for an event. |
| Request Quote | request_quote | Requests a quote. |
